Voice Spaces on Med.Fun provide audio-only chat rooms where token communities can gather, discuss, and connect in real-time. Unlike live streams, Spaces focus purely on voice conversation, making them perfect for community discussions, AMAs, and collaborative conversations.
What Are Voice Spaces?
Voice Spaces are real-time audio chat rooms that allow:
Audio-only communication (no video required)
Multiple participants speaking simultaneously
Listener mode for passive participation
Hand raise system for organized discussion
Democratic moderation through kick voting

Joining a Space
Finding Active Spaces
Spaces are accessible from:
Token detail pages
Community navigation
Space directory
Look for the "Join Space" indicator
View Space information:
Space name
Host information
Current listener count
Space topic/description
Joining as a Listener
Click "Join Space"
Your status shows as "Connecting..."
Once connected, you'll see:
Active speakers
Listener count
Space controls
As a listener:
You can hear all speakers
Your microphone is muted by default
You can raise your hand to request to speak
You can leave at any time
Requesting to Speak
To join the conversation:
Click the "Raise Hand" β button
Wait for the host to accept your request
Once accepted:
Your microphone becomes active
You appear in the speakers list
You can toggle mute/unmute
Creating a Space
Starting a New Space
Navigate to your token's page
Click "Create Space"
Configure Space settings:
Space name: Give your Space a descriptive title
Topic: What will you discuss?
Privacy: Public or token-holder only
Click "Start Space"
Host Responsibilities
As the Space host, you can:
Accept/decline hand raise requests
Mute participants if necessary
End the Space
Set the topic and guidelines
Moderate participants (via kick voting)

Kick Voting System
Voice Spaces use a democratic approach to moderation:
How It Works
Any participant can initiate a vote to remove someone
A threshold of votes is required (e.g., 3 votes)
Once threshold is met, the user is removed
Removed users cannot rejoin the same Space

Click "Vote to Kick"
Confirm your vote
Other participants can add their votes
