Connect your Telegram account to track token mentions, monitor channels, and receive real-time trading alerts directly in Telegram.

Overview

Med.Fun's Telegram integration allows you to:

• Monitor Telegram channels for token mentions

• Track trending tokens across crypto communities

• Receive instant notifications about market activity

• Get alerts for tokens mentioned by influential channels

• Analyze sentiment and discussion volume

Getting Started

Linking Your Telegram Account

1. Click on your profile or settings menu

2. Navigate to "Connected Accounts" or "Integrations"

3. Click "Connect Telegram"

4. You'll be redirected to Telegram

5. Click "Accept" to authorize Med.Fun

6. You'll be redirected back to Med.Fun with Telegram connected

Alternatively, if you accessed the platform through our Telegram bot:

1. Open the Med.Fun bot in Telegram

2. Click "Launch App" or use the /start command

3. Your account will be automatically linked

Verifying Connection

Once connected, you'll see:

• Telegram username displayed in your profile

• Green "Connected" status

• Access to Telegram tracking features

Telegram Tracking Features

Channel Monitoring

Track specific Telegram channels for token mentions:

1. Navigate to Tracker or AI Hub → Telegram tab

2. Click "Add Channel"

3. Enter the channel username or link

4. Configure tracking settings

5. Click "Start Monitoring"

Setting Up Alerts

Creating Telegram Alerts

1. Go to Settings → Notifications → Telegram

2. Enable "Telegram Notifications"

3. Choose what to be notified about:

   • Token mentions in tracked channels

   • High volume discussion spikes

   • Mentions by influential accounts

   • Price movements after mentions

   • Custom keyword alerts

Alert Types

Token Mention Alerts

Get notified when a specific token is mentioned:

• Set token address or ticker symbol

• Choose minimum mention threshold

• Filter by channel size/influence

Volume Spike Alerts

Notified when discussion volume increases:

• Set baseline vs spike threshold

• Define time window (1hr, 6hr, 24hr)

• Filter out spam channels

Influencer Alerts

Get notified when influential channels mention any token:

• Define what counts as "influential"

• Set minimum channel size

• Track VIP/premium signal channels

Custom Keyword Alerts

Track specific keywords or phrases:

• "buy," "moon," "launched," etc.

• Combine with token filters

• Set urgency levels

Notification Settings

Configure how you receive alerts:

• In-app notifications

• Direct Telegram messages from Med.Fun bot

• Email notifications

• Desktop push notifications

Control frequency:

• Real-time (immediate)

• Batched (every 5/15/30 minutes)

• Daily digest

• Do not disturb hours

What Data We Access

• Public channel messages (read-only)

• Phone number

• Private channel contents (unless you're a member)

Your Control

• Disconnect Telegram anytime in settings

• Delete all tracking data

• Opt out of specific channels

• Stop notifications without disconnecting

Troubleshooting

Can't Connect Telegram

• Make sure you're using the correct Telegram account

• Try disconnecting and reconnecting

• Clear browser cache and cookies

• Contact support if issues persist

Not Receiving Notifications

• Check bot isn't muted or blocked in Telegram

• Verify notification settings in Med.Fun

• Ensure alerts are enabled for your tracked items

• Check your Telegram privacy settings

Channel Not Being Tracked

• Verify channel username is correct (with @)

• Ensure channel is public or you're a member

• Some channels may block bot access

• Try adding the channel again

Missing Mention Data

• Data collection starts when you add the channel

• Historical data may not be available

• Channel may have restricted bot access

• Refresh the dashboard to update

Best Practices

1. Quality Over Quantity: Track influential channels, not every channel

2. Filter Noise: Set thresholds to avoid spam alerts

3. Cross-Reference: Verify Telegram activity with on-chain data

4. Don't FOMO: Telegram hype doesn't always equal good investments

5. Test Settings: Start with conservative alert thresholds

6. Regular Review: Update tracked channels monthly
